George Orwell – The First Hipster?

Eric Arthur Blair, or as we all know him as George Orwell grew up in the UK. He liked to spend most of his time alone writing poetry, stories and talking to his imaginary friends. He had a rough childhood where he was consistently bullied in school. As he grew older, he fell into several odd jobs and later on broke off to pursue his true passion as a writer. He wrote about the oppressed classes and his satirical take on politics. His most famous literary works include, “Animal Farm” and “1984”. #Biography #GeorgeOrwell
